In June 2017, I went on a volunteer program to Nepal, the land of Himalayas and home to the tallest mountain on the planet.
For the one-month period, I’ve been teaching the kids in Traibidya Shikcchya Sadan in Kathmandu. I never loved kids before the program. Now every time a cute kid comes to me, I’ll smile and try to have some fun.
After the program, I went on and did something I wanted to do for a long time, trekking in the Himalayas. With my volunteer partner, Jimmy, we took on the challenge to trek 12 days into Annapurna Circuit during the monsoon season. It’s a good piece of memory and achievement that will never fade.
I then spent another three weeks exploring around the beautiful country. For some, it might be one of the toughest countries to travel in. But once you get hold of how things work there, especially the public transports, things can get interesting for your travel.
