Hey there, I am Ang Zheng Yen, the travel blogger behind Wandering Journal. I started this site during my university days as a personal space to document my travels, share practical tips, and make sense of the places I was exploring at the time. What began as a simple travel journal gradually evolved into a collection of in-depth guides and reflections across destinations such as New Zealand, Nepal, Vietnam, Laos, and Malaysia.
Through running Wandering Journal, I was introduced to SEO, initially as a way to help my travel stories reach more readers. That curiosity grew into a deeper interest in how search, content, and audience intent work together, which eventually led me to pursue SEO as a full-time career. While I no longer update the blog as actively as before, it remains an important part of my journey and the foundation of how I learned to write, structure, and publish content online.

Co-Founder Behind Mackyclyde SEO and Clicked Singapore
Currently, I am also the SEO Director & Co-Founder of Mackyclyde SEO and the CEO & Co-Founder of Clicked Singapore. Both are digital marketing agencies that I co-founded with my business partners, with a shared goal of helping clients improve organic visibility and brand awareness through battle-tested, data-driven SEO solutions.
Mackyclyde SEO was founded in 2020, while I was still in a full-time role, as a way to apply what I had learned in a practical, hands-on environment across different industries. Over time, my work expanded beyond traditional SEO into areas such as content strategy, technical optimisation, digital PR, and more recently, AI-driven search and discovery. The core focus has always been on building sustainable visibility that aligns with real business goals, rather than chasing short-term wins.
In February 2025, I co-founded Clicked in Singapore to bring a more structured and transparent approach to SEO for businesses in the market. Through Clicked, I work closely with founders and marketing teams to navigate how search continues to evolve, from traditional search engines to emerging AI-driven platforms. While this site captures a chapter of my travel journey, my professional work reflects the same curiosity and long-term mindset that first led me to start Wandering Journal.
